Bound in full green morocco, beautifully decorated in pictorial gilt tooling. The spines have a floral and bird motif, the boards have classical architectural and marsh motifs with waterfowl and floral tracery. Inner dentelles with similar tooling, mottled paper doublures and endsheets, t.e.g. by Tout & Sons (pencil note stating this set was bound in 1896).
